8 weeks down

Well, The Impovlab just completed it's first 8 weeks in running drop in classes for actors and
improvisers.

It really has been a fun ride and has a wonderful way to get to know other players. Thanks to all those who have joined us so far, and to those who plan on participating in the future. The workshops have
been fun, collaborative and very productive! And thank you once again to The Roxbury Hotel in Glebe for their wonderful support in providing us with a fantastic venue.

What is very exciting is the new work that is emerging from the Improvlab workshops. Through weekly collaborating, some of the lab's regular visitors have used the Sunday improv jams as a tool to
create the embryo of a brand new contemporary theatre piece. More news on that to come...

Here are some pics of some of the players in action.

 Bye for now!

Arthur B Fringe Affair was fun!

Went to the FIRST ever Arthur B Fringe affair in Erskinville on Wed 16th March and it was super fun!
Got to try out an idea that I had on my brain for awhile. It's a semi scripted semi improvised piece, with live vocal looping accompaniment. Was a great testing ground for my little experiment. It's also a great place for improvisers to get more stage time. Here's the website.

Here's some footage you can watch of the gig!
